Cookie Policy

Effective date: 24 May 2026. This page explains how we use cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and browser fingerprinting. These technologies allow us to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and improve the security of our service.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary

Essential for the website to function. These include session management, fraud prevention (FingerprintJS Pro), and payment processing (Stripe). They cannot be disabled because the service cannot operate without them. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest — security).

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with Consent Mode v2. When you decline analytics, GA4 operates in consent-denied mode — no personal data is collected and conversions are modelled, not measured directly. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

Marketing

Trustpilot review widget. When you decline marketing, the Trustpilot widget is not loaded. You can still read our reviews directly on Trustpilot.com. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

4. Managing your preferences

You can update your preferences at any time by clicking Manage preferences in the cookie banner (shown on first visit). Once you have made a choice, a Cookie preferences button remains visible at the bottom-left of every page — click it to reopen your preferences at any time.

For Google Analytics, you can also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw or change your consent at any time with the same ease as it was given, as required by Art. 7(3) GDPR. To withdraw consent:

  1. Click the Cookie preferences button at the bottom-left of any page.
  2. Select Reject all to withdraw all optional consent, or adjust individual categories and click Save preferences.

Withdrawing consent applies from that moment onward and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

6. International transfers

Google Analytics data may be processed in the United States under Google's Standard Contractual Clauses. FingerprintJS Pro processes data within the EU region (our account is configured with region: eu). Stripe processes payment data under their own DPA and SCCs.
